How long does it take to set up a new account?
Not long. Usually, we can begin shipping within 2 weeks of your initial contact with us, but this time frame can be a little as 1 week.
Can I use my shopping cart?
Marlin provides seamless intergration with almost all shopping carts, as well as an on line order form and batch order file processing. We can even work with emails to process your customer's orders.
Can I use my current merchant account?
Of course. We can assist you if you need help establishing a merchant account, but we do not limit your options.
Do you have same day shipping?
Yes. Typically, if your order is in by 2:00 p.m. Eastern, it will ship the same day.
How do I manage my business remotely?
We provide web based tools and reports. Our order management and inventory systems are integrated and web based. Use your browser to securely check sales and order reports, order detail, inventory levels, shipping detail, tracking, etc. All monitoring tools are real time.
Will your systems talk with mine to keep things automated?
Yes. Using XML files, the entire process can be properly integrated.
Do you process returns?
Absolutely. All returns are closely inspected, returned to stock if in new condition or placed on a hold status if questionable. You will receive an automated report indicating the status of and reason for every returned item. You maintain control over all RMAs.
How do you invoice?
Marlin invoices weekly via email for pick and shipping costs, monthly for other services. Charges are prepaid or covered by a deposit.
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs are variable based on carrier, weight and destination. We have discounted rates with all major carriers and will work with you to optimize your shipping costs.
Can you customize Marlin's EDGE system to meet our business needs?
We have made many enhancements to Marlin's EDGE system at the request of our customers, and have created many custom reports to meet their needs. Because this is our proprietary system, we believe that we can do the same for you.
